Prithvi Shaw was all over the news in November 2013 when he scored 546 off 330 balls in a Mumbai-based Harris Shield elite division match. Shaw is a fine stroke player who believes in attacking and scoring quick runs. His batting style resembles the great Sachin Tendulkar with his strokes and footwork. Shaw has shown immense potential and consistency at every opportunity he has got.

Shaw has shown unbelievable hunger for runs. He has a wonderful record in the first class cricket where he has scored with an average of 56.72. In his last 10 innings, Shaw has scored 4 centuries. In fact, it appears as if he is scoring runs just for fun now. He has proved that age should not be a hurdle in the selection for the national squad.
