Prithvi Shaw was picked up by Delhi Capitals in the 2018 IPL Auction. Shaw performed well in the limited chances he got and the Delhi side has decided to retain him for the next season.

This young 19-year-old prodigy from Mumbai made his appearance in the Indian Premier League last edition and scored 245 runs from his nine matches at an impressive strike-rate of 153.14, including two valuable half-centuries.

Prithvi Shaw made his international appearance in Test cricket a couple of months ago. He has scored 237 runs from three innings at an average of 118.51. The interesting thing about this is that he has scored his Test runs at an unbelievable strike-rate of 94.15.

Prithvi Shaw was one of the integral parts in India's victory in the 2018 U-19 World Cup where he captained the side. He looks all set to take the legacy forward.

#2 Shubman Gill

In 2018, Shubman Gill attracted the eyes of everyone in the U-19 World Cup held in New Zealand. He was the second leading run-scorer of the tournament. He scored 372 runs in the five innings he played at an exceptional average of 124 which includes a scintillating hundred against Pakistan. Gill was also won the Man of the Tournament award.

He has been performing really well in the domestic circuit. In the first-class cricket, Shubman Gill has scored four centuries and five half-centuries at averages more than 58.

In the 2018 IPL Auction, he was picked up by Kolkata Knight Riders for INR 1.8 crores. The right-handed batsman proved his worth by performing a match-winning knock against Chennai Super Kings in a difficult chase.

So keep an eye on him, because five years later, we might be applauding for him while he destroys international teams.

#3 Washington Sundar

Washington Sundar is a left-handed batsman and right-arm off-spinner. He has performed for the India national U-19 team. In 2016, he made his first-class appearance for Tamil Nadu in the 2016–17 Ranji Trophy.

Sundar took 8 wickets in 6 matches in the 2018 Nidahas T20 tournament. During the Nidahas tournament, he took a maiden 3-wicket haul, making him the youngest T20I player to do so so far.

In 2017 IPL, Sundar played for the now-defunct Rising Pune Supergiants and the youngster bowled exceptionally well in the season, directing his team to the finals. Thus far, Sundar played 18 IPL matches and scored 74 runs and picked up 12 wickets.

The Tamil Nadu born off-spinner Washington Sundar also has the ability to open the innings for his side as well which is an excellent option to have. Sundar can open for the Indian team in the future if the openers fail to perform.
