Sachin Tendulkar piled on an incredible 49 hundreds in the ODI format of the game. It is till today, a world record. But then, there were several occasions when Tendulkar was dismissed in the nervous nineties. In fact, Tendulkar was dismissed in the between 90 and 99 on as many as 18 occasions in ODI cricket.

To put this in some perspective, the men who are second in the list are Andy Flower, Nathan Astle and Aravinda de Silva and they have been dismissed in the nineties on just 9 occassions in ODI cricket, just half of the number of times as Tendulkar.

And, it is highly unlikely that this record of Tendulkar’s will be broken anytime soon, as the next active cricketer in the list is Chris Gayle who has scored 4975 of his runs in a losing cause for the West indies, and is 1610 runs away.
