Shikhar Dhawan has earned the reputation of being a non-performer in overseas conditions and he failed to change that in the series against England. Dhawan was dropped after a poor first Test but was recalled in the third Test. But, unfortunately Dhawan continued to misfire in bowler-friendly conditions.

He played rash shots and gave away his wicket after looking set for a big one. The southpaw failed to score even a single fifty in the series and is in danger of losing his place in the Test side. Moreover, with India set to play in Australia later in the year, the selectors might take a final call on Dhawan's Test career.
