India have always been blessed with the best spinners in the world. Earlier there used to be the trio of Bishan Singh Bedi, Erapalli Prasanna and BS Chandrasekhar, and later Anil Kumble and Harbhajan Singh dominated the proceedings.

Now, it’s the time of the two Ravis. Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja have been phenomenal for India in the last few years.

Their bowling has always been brilliant, but their batting has been improving with each passing year too. Both of them are turning into world-class all-rounders, and in home conditions they are almost unplayable.

Ashwin averages 22.84 in India with the ball whereas Jadeja averages 20.62. There hasn’t been a single home series where they have failed to perform; they are always up there in the list of the leading wicket-takers.
