Nobody knows what Shreyas Iyer has to do to get selected in the Test side. He has scored consistently scored in domestic circuit with an average of 51.86 in the first class. Shreyas Iyer is an attacking and fearless stroke-player. He also possesses a solid technique which helps him to pick the line and length early.

In the 2015-16 season, Iyer scored massive 1321 runs at an average of 73.38. His century in the final that season helped Mumbai win their 41st Ranji title. He recently scored a blazing hundred against Baroda in the Ranji. He scored 178 runs in just 129 balls which included 11 sixes.

Even after scoring so many runs, Iyer was never given a chance in Tests for India. He was constantly ignored by the team management and the selectors. Shreyas Iyer is a good batsman who should be considered for selection in the Indian team. Iyer deserves a national call for his constant performances in the domestic cricket.

Shubman Gill is one of the brightest talents in the domestic circuit. He gained all the attention for his outstanding performance in the 2018 U19 World Cup. He scored 418 runs at an average of 104.50 in the tournament. Gill easily looked the finest batsman among all the players at the World Cup. Gill was a favourite in the 2018 IPL auction and was picked by Kolkata Knight Riders for 1.8 crores.

Shubman's batting style resembles Virat Kohli with his bottom hand technique. Like Virat, Gill is a big fan of running between the wickets. Shubman was the star of this year's Ranji season. He scored his runs with an average of 104 this season including a 268 against Tamil Nadu this season.

Shubman should be rewarded for his performances in the domestic circuit. He needs to be a part of the Indian Test side. Gill is a promising talent who needs to be given a proper chance in the international arena.
