16th of February 2018. A decent day in Auckland, but the night welcomed all the pyrotechnics. A sum of 488 runs were scored in less than 40 overs. New Zealand opted to bat first after winning the toss. Munro scored a blazing 76. A right-handed batsman, Martin Guptill, managed to score a blazing ton - 105 off 54 balls. He struck 6 boundaries & 9 breathtaking maximums. On the back of his century, New Zealand went on to score their highest ever total in T20 Internationals. Aussies scored chased it down in just 18.4 overs. Wrecker-in-chief was the newcomer, D'arcy Short, also the MoM, who scored a scintillating 76 to help the Australian side chase the mammoth total.
