3. Jacques Kallis

Kallis South Africa

One of the finest all-rounders to have ever played the game, Jacques Kallis was a rock that held the South African side together for well over a decade. While he might be better known for his exploits in the longest format of the game, it wasn't as though, he wasn't handy in ODIs.

In fact, with over 11,500 ODI runs and in excess of 250 wickets, he is arguably the most successful all-rounder to have ever played the format. Batting in the top-order and providing useful wickets with the ball, Kallis will go down as one of the best, even if his critics bring up his tendency to lose games because he wasn't fast enough with the bat towards the end of his career.

Still, a tally of 11,579 runs at an average of 44.36 and 273 wickets at an average just over 30 in 328 matches are numbers most players can only dream of. He is the only non Asian cricketer on this list and has the second-most wickets and third-most runs of the five to achieve the unique feat of 10,000 runs and 100 ODI wickets.
