In the Vijay Hazare trophy, the right-hander made 364 runs in 7 matches at an average of 60 and he has backed that effort with 399 runs in the 10 matches that he has played so far in the IPL for the Mumbai Indians.
If he can maintain the same level of consistency then perhaps he could find himself in the standby list soon.
