The idea of 100 international centuries was beyond imagination, and no one expected that such a record would exist until Sachin Tendulkar made it happen. In his overall career, he scored 49 centuries in ODI format while in Tests he scored 51 centuries which took the aggregate to 100 hundred in international cricket.

Sachin himself mentioned that if any player who could break this record then it would be either Virat Kohli or Rohit Sharma. He was spot on with his prediction as Kohli is marching towards the record with full pace and has already reached the aggregate of 58 international centuries.

Kohli already stands fifth in the list of most international centuries, and if he keeps playing with same passion for a decade, he would easily overhaul the record of 100 hundred. Shoaib Akhtar has claimed that Kohli would score 120 international centuries when he takes retirement from cricket.
