If there is one ground that Kohli could consider as his home ground in Australia, then it has to be the Adelaide Oval. And that's not because of the extensive Indian population in South Australia, but because of his incredible run-scoring spree at the ground.

Kohli scored his maiden Test hundred at this very ground in a series where he was the lone bright spot, in 2012. He came back again in 2014 and scored a century in each innings to become the youngest captain ever to score twin centuries in a Test match. In the process he also became only the second player ever to score two centuries on his captaincy debut.

With three centuries, Kohli along with the legendary Jack Hobbs holdd the record for most 100s by a visiting batsman at Adelaide Oval. The series opener is scheduled at Adelaide, and it won’t be a surprise if he scores another ton to own this record.
