The Kiwis have always been known for their explosive batting and as a result, they find themselves placed at number 4 in this list. Men like Brendon McCullum, Nathan Astle and Ross Taylor have come from this beautiful country and it is no surprise that the Black Caps find themselves in this elusive list.
Over the years, New Zealand have scored 350 or more runs in an ODI on 14 instances -- 4th most by any team in the history of the game. The Kiwis have enjoyed appreciable success in ODI cricket over the years and even won the ICC Knockout Tournament in 2000.
The Black Caps have breached the 400-run mark once in their history as they smashed Ireland for 402 runs in 2008. There were raining boundaries as the two openers -- Brendon McCullum and James Marshall scored gigantic centuries. In total, 18 sixes were hit that day by the New Zealand side with Brendon scoring 10 of those in his smashing innings of 166 runs. The total remains New Zealand's highest ever ODI score till date.
