#2 Faf du Plessis makes return to ODI squad for India series

Du Plessis will make a return to the Proteas' ODI fold against India

Former South Africa skipper Faf du Plessis made a return to the ODI fold as CSA announced a 15-man squad to tour India for the three-match series. Du Plessis, who gave up the captaincy in all forms recently, was selected to give solidity to the inexperienced South African middle-order.

Rassie van der Dussen was also named in the squad while George Linde got his first call-up. With Kagiso Rabada ruled out of the series due to a groin injury, Lungi Ngidi will be Quinton de Kock's go-to pacer.
