World Cup 2019 is special in more ways than one. While the round robin format of the tournament, where each team plays the other, is already creating a lot of excitement among the fans, the amount of cricketing talent that will be on show this time around is going to make this World Cup a spectacle.

Some big guns will be seen in action in England in what promises to be the most closely contested World Cup of all time. Apart from the established names, who have already been a part of the World Cup before, there are some high octane players who will be making their debuts in the tournament.

The World Cup will provide an excellent opportunity to these talented players to make a name for themselves on the big stage. All the teams have players who are all set to light up the big stage with their performances. We will look at an XI consisting of the most exciting debutants of the tournament.

Openers: Jason Roy (England), Jonny Bairstow (w) (England)

Roy and Bairstow

Jason Roy has been absolutely brilliant at the top for England. Roy has played some blistering knocks at the top of the order. The South African born batsman averages over 40 with an eye-catching strike-rate of 106.30. Roy has been a big force behind England successfully chasing big targets in ODIs. England will be hoping that Roy continues his merry way in ODI cricket and provides quick fire starts to the team in the World Cup.

After getting avoided in the ODI setup for a long time, Jonny Bairstow cemented his place in the England side through some consistent performances. Bairstow has shown tremendous sense of match awareness and has played according to the match situation. His ability to play spin well will be key for England. Bairstow is going to be extremely crucial for England's chances in the tournament.

Middle-order: Babar Azam (Pakistan), and Shimron Hetmyer (West Indies),

Pakistan has given some great bowlers like Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Imran Khan to World cricket. In the process, it's batting had taken a backseat. However, one batsman who is highly regarded in the cricket circles at the moment is Babar Azam. Babar averages 51.68, which is unusual for a Pakistani batman, in the 64 ODIs that he has played.

He has been the backbone of the team's batting in the last couple of years and a lot will rely on his young shoulders.

Shimron Hetmyer is currently one of the most promising talents in World cricket. The U-19 World Cup winning skipper has played some stunning innings against some quality bowling attacks. The 22-year-old has shown big appetite for runs and has already struck 4 centuries in 24 matches. Hetmyer will surely be a player to watch out for in the World Cup.

All-rounders: Ben Stokes (England), Hardik Pandya (India), and Rashid Khan (Afghanistan)

England's change of fortunes in ODI cricket has a lot to do with the attacking brand of cricket that they have adopted. One of the players who has been instrumental in bringing in this change is Ben Stokes. Stokes has been phenomenal for England both with the bat and ball. He has the X-factor that has helped win a lot of matches in the last couple of years. His ability to make an impact in all the three departments will be vital for England.

Since Hardik Pandya's inclusion in the ODI side, Team India has looked a completely different outfit. Pandya has provided balance to the team as he has filled the vacant all-rounder spot efficiently. With MS Dhoni taking the responsibility of taking the innings deep, Pandya has donned the role of the finisher in the team. The 25-year-old's ever improving bowling provides extra options to Virat Kohli.

One of biggest reasons for Afghanistan's meteoric rise in World cricket is the team's star spinner Rashid Khan. Rashid has a staggering ODI record to his name. The young Afghan has picked up 125 wickets in just 58 ODIs at an outstanding average of 15.34 and an economy of 3.9 runs per over. Rashid has made some meaningful contributions with the bat in the lower order and will be Afghanistan's goto man in the World Cup.

Bowlers: Jofra Archer (England), Kuldeep Yadav (India), Kagiso Rabada (South Africa), and Jasprit Bumrah (India)

After keeping him out of the provisional squad, England finally gave in to the temptation of including Jofra Archer by naming h in the final 15. Archer has been the talk of the town in the last few months after being eligible for playing for England. He has been impressive playing for various franchises in different parts of the world and England will hope that he lives up to all the hype he has created.

Batsmen all around the world have found it difficult to play Kuldeep Yadav. The left-arm chinaman bowler has been exceptional for Team India and has delivered some match-winning performances. Yadav has 87 scalps in 44 ODIs to his name and he will be an attacking option for the Indian team in the World Cup.

Kuldeep Yadav

South Africa will look to shed the tag of chokers in the World Cup and one player who can help them win their maiden World Cup title is Kagiso Rabada. The Proteas speedster has been the leader of a strong South African pace attack for quite some time now and South Africa's fortunes will depend on his performance.

Jasprit Bumrah is going to be Virat Kohli's main weapon in the World Cup as far as bowling is concerned. Bumrah has excelled in all conditions and is arguably the best fast bowler in World cricket. His ability to pick wickets both with the new ball as well as the old ball makes him a real threat for the opposition.
