The Test series against India led to Robson's ouster from the English Test team. In 7 innings, Robson could manage only 165 runs at an average of 23.57. In 11 Test innings as opener, he could manage to score only 336 runs at an average of 30.55. He has not played a Test for England since the 2014 series against India.
