Pakistan got their England tour off to a winning start as a superlative performance saw them defeat England by 75 runs in the first Test at Lord's. Pakistan ended their long wait for a Test win at the Lord's after they bowled out the hosts for 207 in what was a thrilling game of Test cricket.

Yasir Shah was the star for the visiting team as he picked up ten wickets in the Test match, thus inching closer to the three-figure mark in terms of Test wickets. Shah took his tally to 86 wickets from only 13 Tests.

Mohammad Amir made a fairly good return to Test cricket after having last played a Test six years ago. Amir picked up three wickets in the match and showed what he was capable as he troubled the batsmen on a regular basis.

Here are the major stats from the game:

0 – Pakistan has never lost a single Test match in which Misbah-ul-Haq scored a century.

1 – This was the first Test match, in which Misbah-ul-Haq was dismissed for a duck, that Pakistan won.

1 – Chris Woakes is the only English bowler to have picked up six-wicket hauls in both Tests and ODIs.

4 – Chris Woakes became only the fourth bowler to have picked up a ten-for and faced more than 200 deliveries in a single Test match. The remaining three are Michael Bevan, Chaminda Vaas and Allan Border.

7 – Seven batsmen were dismissed in their forties in this Test. This is the joint second highest in Test history. The highest is eight batsmen in the England-Australia match at Edgbaston in1989.

10 – Yasir Shah became the first Asian bowler to pick up ten wickets in a Test match at Lord's. He also became the first wrist spinner to take 10 wickets in a Lord's Test.

10/141 – Yasir Shah's bowling figures are the best ever for a Pakistani bowler at Lord's. Shah beat Waqar Younis’ 8/154, that was made in 1996. This also breaks Shane Warne's record for the best bowling figures by a leg-spinner at Lord's.

12 – England lost their last four wickets for just 12 runs in five overs.

20 – This was Pakistan's first win in a Test match at Lord's in 20 years.

21 – Misbah-ul-Haq won his 21st match as a Test captain. He has won 21 of the 48 Tests he has captained with a win percentage of 48.84.

21 – This was the 21st instance in a Test match that two bowlers finished with ten-wicket hauls. Chris Woakes and Yasir Shah both finished with ten-wicket hauls.

351 – Stuart Broad reached the milestone of picking up 350 Test wickets. Broad became the third English bowler to reach the landmark, after Ian Botham and James Anderson.
