Shikhar Dhawan had a forgetful series. Dhawan looked in good nick in a couple of matches but threw away his wicket quite cheaply. His comical dismissal in the second T20I drew a lot of criticism from cricket experts.

Rohit Sharma (8.5/10)

Rohit Sharma showed his class in the final T20I at Bristol. Sharma started the series well and made a crucial 32 runs in the first T20I. But Rohit saved his best for the last and his sensational century in the last T20I won him the man-of-the-series award.

KL Rahul (8/10)

KL Rahul announced himself in England with a spectacular century in the first T20I. Rahul helped India get a lead of 1-0 in the series. Rahul was looking in good form in the third T20I as well before getting dismissed, thanks to a stunning catch by Chris Jordan.

Virat Kohli (7.5/10)

Virat Kohli did a selfless act by giving away the number 3 spot in the batting order to KL Rahul. Kohli played well in all three matches but his inning of 43 runs off 29 balls in the final T20I was the most important one.

Suresh Raina (5.5/10)

Suresh Raina did not get much opportunity with the bat in this series. He scored 27 runs in the only chance that he got and failed to convert a good start into a substantial inning.

MS Dhoni (7.5/10)

MS Dhoni made the most of the single opportunity that he got in the series. Dhoni scored a crucial 32 runs in the second T20I and helped India reach a fighting total. He was exceptional behind the stumps as always.

Hardik Pandya (8/10)

Hardik Pandya enhanced his reputation as an all-rounder by putting up some fine performances in the series. While he provided crucial breakthroughs with the ball, his match-winning cameo of 33 runs will be irked in the memories of fans for a long time.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar (4/10)

Bhuvneshwar Kumar had a rare bad series. He lacked consistency and proved very costly with the ball. He did start well in the second T20I but failed to defend 12 runs in the last over.

Kuldeep Yadav (7.5/10)

Kuldeep Yadav turned the match on its head in a single over in the first T20I. He took 5 wickets and looked unplayable. However, he was taken apart in the second T20I and was surprisingly dropped in the final match.

Yuzvendra Chahal (6/10)

Yuzvendra Chahal had a mixed T20I series. Chahal did manage to strangle the batsmen for runs at times but failed to pick up wickets. He picked up just one wicket in the tournament and will look to improve in the upcoming ODI series.

Umesh Yadav (6.5/10)

Umesh Yadav troubled the English batsmen with his pace. He took quite a few wickets, especially at the start of the innings, but bowled some bad balls too giving away easy runs to the England batsmen.

Deepak Chahar (2.5/10)

Deepak Chahar replaced the injured Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the final T20I. Chahar, who is known for his swing bowling, did not have a good start to his international career. He went at over 10 runs per over while picking up only one wicket.

Siddarth Kaul (5/10)

Siddarth Kaul bowled reasonably well in tough bowling conditions. Apart from a couple of loose balls, Kaul bowled at good line and length and picked up two crucial wickets for the Indian team.
