Suresh Raina, the seasoned campaigner hasn't been able to seal his spot in the XI vastly due to his inconsistency and his weakness against short balls.
Despite getting ample chances in the playing XI at the expense of Dinesh Karthik in the recently concluded T20 and ODI series against England, he managed to score just 47 runs in three ODI matches.
The selectors have surely moved on from Suresh Raina as he has never really get rid of his inconsistency.
Time and again, he has failed to make an impact during his comeback. With time running out for World Cup, Raina has had more bad news to follow as he couldn't make the cut for Asia Cup and has also been dropped as Uttar Pradesh's captain for the domestic matches this year.
With nothing going right for Raina, we could surely see him get excluded from the list.
