In the recently released ICC Reliance Test Team Rankings, India have dropped to seventh spot following the 0-2 series loss against Australia in Australia. South Africa, on the other hand, have retained their top position after the 2-0 series win over West Indies and are followed by Australia and England at second and third spot respectively.

New Zealand, with 99 Rating Points, have moved to fifth spot, courtesy their 2-0 series win against Sri Lanka. Pakistan, following their clean sweep of Australia and a 1-1 draw against the Kiwis, are at fourth spot.

In the rankings for Test batsmen, Sri Lanka’s Kumar Sangakkara has displaced South Africa’s AB de Villiers to become new World Number 1, while Dale Steyn retained his spot as the No. 1 Test bowler.

Meanwhile, Australia’s Johnson has also dropped a spot and thus swaps places with England’s Stuart Broad in the Reliance ICC Player Rankings for Test All-rounders, with the Australian left-arm speedster now lying in fifth spot. Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan remains the number-one ranked all-rounder.
