Sri Lanka and India both retained their rankings on the top and second spot respectively after Sri Lanka beat Pakistan in the 2nd T20I yesterday by 24 runs and squared the series 1-1. Sri Lanka needed to win the 2nd T20I yesterday to stay on top after losing the first T20I earlier in the series.
“Sri Lanka has retained its number-one ranking on the Reliance ICC T20I Team Rankings table after it beat Pakistan in the second and final Twenty20 International in Dubai on Friday by 24 runs to level the series 1-1,” the ICC said in a statement.
