India beat Australia in U-19 International series final

India U-19 have won the Top End Under- 19 Series in Australia after they beat the host by eight wickets for their 5th successive ODI victory.

Australia were bowled out for a paltry 75 in 24.4 overs after a great display of bowling from the Indian side. DJ Hooda took three wickets while AR Lamba, CV Milind and Kuldeep Yadav bagged two wickets each and AA Gani took one.

In reply, India scored the required 76 in 15.3 overs, beating Australia by 8 wickets with 207 balls remaining.

DJ Hooda was adjudged the man of the match for his brilliant bowling performance and Captain Vijay Zol was announced as Man of the Series.

The India U19 team has now won 12 tournaments, which is the most by any U19 Team. Australia and Pakistan are next with three tournament wins.
