In what might be considered as the Indian Cricket Team's last leg of assembly before this year's ICC World Cup, the men in blue will be locking horns with Australia in an upcoming home series. Comprising 2 T20Is and 5 ODIs, the bilateral series assumes greater significance for both the teams, given their efforts in trying to get the best fit ahead of the mega tournament in England this May.
While India will be looking to explore bankable players who could fillip its already settled core, the Australians, who have been criticized for their underwhelming performances of-late, will be hoping to get the machinery functioning at the earliest to avenge the recent home series loss against the same opposition.

Scheduled to last for less than a month, the short tour will be kicked off with the first T20I at Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam on 24 February. Going forward, the second T20I will be played at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru while Hyderabad, Nagpur, Ranchi, Mohali, and Delhi will be hosting the five ODIs.
