India vs Sri Lanka 2017, 1st Test, day 4: 5 things we learnt from the day

New Zealand v India - First Test: Day 4
Dhawan played a typically aggressive knock in the second innings

#3 Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mohammed Shami pick up four apiece

Australia v India: 3rd Test - Day 1
Shami overcame a poor hamstring to deliver a spectacular spell

Mohammed Shami had hobbled off the field on Saturday with a recurring hamstring trouble but showed little signs of discomfort as he steamed in on Sunday and nipped out four wickets in an exhilarating spell of fast bowling. He had able support from Bhuvneshwar Kumar at the other end, who also picked up a four-wicket haul.

Shami accounted for the big scalps of Niroshan Dickwella and Dinesh Chandimal while Bhuvneshwar got rid of the annoying Rangana Herath, who had notched up a half-century to frustrate the Indians. The duo bowled in tandem and constantly swung and moved the ball off the seam to trouble the Lankan batsmen.
