MS Dhoni: 8/10

If someone stood valiantly in the first match, it was Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who single-handedly fought against Lankan bowling attack, and scored 65 runs in the first match. He scored 6 runs in the second match and did not get a batting opportunity in the third match. His wicket keeping skills were as good as ever, and he never looked in trouble.

Manish Pandey: 2/10

Manish Pandey has been one of the biggest disappointments of the series, as he was expected to play a crucial knock at Dharamshala with the kind of talent he possesses. In the absence of Kedar Jadhav, Pandey missed the golden opportunity to cement his place in the batting order. He should be itching to perform at whatever opportunity is thrown at him.

Dinesh Karthik: 4/10

Karthik also failed to impress in the middle order after scoring a duck in the first match. He did not get an opportunity in the second, but in the third he scored 26 not out and finished the game.

Going ahead, Karthik would also like to make most of his opportunities count, and score big runs in the middle order.
