Video: Randiv's shameful act - Intentional no-ball denies Sehwag a century

Scoring a century needs a lot of hard work and patience. How would you feel if you are intentionally denied a hundred by the opponent team?

Something similar happened with Sehwag in 2010 in an ODI against Sri Lanka. When 5 runs were required for India to win and 1 for Sehwag’s century, Sangakkara missed a ball while keeping that went for 4 byes. With 1 needed to win and for Sehwag’s century, commentators were thinking about a no ball or a wide. The next couple of deliveries were dot balls.

Then came one of the more shameful acts ever in cricket. Suraj Randiv bowled a huge no-ball which Sehwag hit for six. But since it was a no-ball first, Sehwag six went in vain as India had already won with that no ball.

Eventually, Randiv was banned for a match and Dilshan was fined as he was the one who asked the bowler to ball the no-ball.
