The young left-arm medium pacer has been in splendid form for Gujarat, producing several high-profile performances in the big-ticket domestic tournaments.
Roosh Kalaria was the leading wicket-taker for Gujarat in the Ranji Trophy 2018-19 before his side crashed out in the quarter-finals against Kerala. He even registered a hat-trick in that game but it wasn't enough.
Continuing the good work, Kalaria bagged the most wickets for Gujarat in the recently concluded Vijay Hazare Trophy. He was the leader of the pack with 21 scalps in 11 appearances, and finished with the third-most wickets in the tournament overall.
Being a left-arm seamer, Kalaria is a rare commodity in Indian cricket. He could well be the next big thing and fetch a hefty bid in the upcoming auction.
