The most unlucky teams in IPL are Kings XI Punjab and Mumbai Indians. They surely boast of, one the best lineups but failed to execute any plans in the first two editions of IPL.

Mumbai Indians

MUMBAI INDIANS

The team owned by Indian Business Tycoon Mukesh Ambani and his wife surely has an Indian flavor to it. . The very name goes as ” Mumbai Indians” , their shirt supports the Indian color and above all the almighty Sachin Tendulkar is their Captain. It had the worst experience in 2008, but they bounced back in 2009 with Shaun Pollock as the coach, the team almost reached the semi finals but was unlucky.

India’s most reliable pace bowler [Zaheer Khan] was bought from the then “Test team”- RCB who has done really well. Along with him, JP Duminy, South Africa’s cricketer [was selected in the auction] led the batting of Mumbai Indians from the front. Now, with the T20 basher Kieron Pollard bought in the auction this year , and ICL Chennai team’s successful captain R Sathish , it adds more sting to their line-up

Mumbaikars will look forward to Tendulkar, Duminy, Jayasuriya, Dwayne Bravo , Abhishek Nayar, Ryan McLaren and Pollard to score the runs. The bowling has a balanced attack with Zaheer, Malinga, Kulkarni, Fernando and Harbhajan. A lot will be expected from both the blade and arms of Bravo, Pollard , McLaren and Nayar.

KEY PLAYERS
