Moeen Ali named cover star of 2015 Wisden Cricketers Almanack

England’s Moeen Ali has been revealed as the cover star for this year’s Wisden Cricketers Almanack. The 152nd edition of the world famous sports book is set to release on 9^th ?April and contains coverage of every first-class game, match reports and scorecards for all Tests and ODIs.

The 27-year old English cricketer replaces retired Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar who graced the 2014 edition. Wisden Almanack posted the cover picture in Twitter, to which many users responded by claiming that the late Australian Phil Hughes should have been honoured on this year edition’s cover. However, a tribute to late Phil Hughes is expected to have been included in the book.

Widely regarded as the ‘Bible of the Cricket’, this year’s edition which will be released by Bloomsbury Publishing is priced at £45. But, fans can pre-order the book at £32.50 while purchasing from the official website.
