MS Dhoni: The Untold Story joins the 200-crore club in box office

While Mahendra Singh Dhoni is leading the Indian cricket team against New Zealand in the ODI series, the skipper's biopic has joined the elite club of movies that have crossed the majestic 200 crore mark. It became only the fourth movie of the year to reach the landmark in Bollywood.
The biopic, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, has Sushant Singh Rajput playing the lead under the direction of Neeraj Pandey. The film boasts over the powerful producers, Fox Star Studios. It was released on 30th of September this year.
The movie is now the most successful biopic of all time in the history of Bollywood, leaving behind Farhan Akhtar's Bhaag Milkha Bhaag which had grossed 109 crores by the end of its run. The producers said that the biopic has grossed 175 crores domestically and 29 crores in overseas till date.
MS Dhoni: The Untold Story is well on its way to becoming the second most successful movie of the year behind Salman Khan's Sultan which had grossed close to 584 crores worldwide.
The biopic was well received by the fans and the critics. The movie revealed several details regarding the World Cup winning Indian captain. It talks about the journey of a small-town boy who goes on to win the World Cup for India.
