India fell 40 short of the New Zealand total on Day 4

New Zealand held their nerve during an Indian counter-attack late on Day 4 to win the first Test match at Auckland by 40 runs. It was a memorable win for the Kiwis but it was also marked by few moments of controversy.

Ross Taylor appreciated the efforts of both teams in playing out a very good Test match.
