The action moves to the Eden Park in Auckland for the 2nd T20 international match of the New Zealand vs India 2019 series. The first T20I match was quite a one-sided affair. Batting first, New Zealand put up a huge total of 219 runs. Tom Seifert was the top scorer from the New Zealand side with a score of 84 runs off just 43 balls.

In reply, India never looked in control of the game throughout their batting. Indian batting never got going and in the end, they were bundled out for just 139 runs and were unable to play their quota of 20 overs.

It would be the first T20 match for the Indian team at the Eden Park. India might make a couple of changes to their side. India needed someone at the top of the order to control the innings so, bringing in Shubman Gill would be a good option. As Vijay Shankar did not bowl any over in the first match, it would be better to have someone like Shubman Gill at number 3 who has a stronger technique.

Mohammed Siraj also might come back in the team in place of Khaleel Ahmed. Khaleel Ahmed looked an ordinary bowler in the first match. Bringing in Mohammed Siraj would be to bring more pace to the bowling attack.

Predicted Playing XI: Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, MS Dhoni, Rishabh Pant, Dinesh Karthik, Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammed Siraj, and Yuzvendra Chahal.

New Zealand, on the other hand, would be very happy with their performance in the first T20I, especially after the One Day series. New Zealand would be hoping to continue their performance in the second T20I as well.

New Zealand do not have a good record at Eden Park in T20Is. Till now they have played 17 T20 Internationals at this venue and have just won 6 out of those. The Black Caps would be hoping to improve on their performance at the Eden Park. New Zealand are likely to go with the same team.

Predicted Playing XI: Tom Seifert, Colin Munro, Kane Williamson, Daryl Mitchell, Ross Taylor, Colin de Grandhomme, Mitchell Santner, Scott Kuggeleijn, Tim Southee, Ish Sodhi, and Lockie Ferguson.
