Team India batter Virat Kohli recently clicked a photo with Radikaa Sarathkumar on his flight from London to Chennai which was shared by the prominent Tamil actress on social media.

Virat Kohli flew into India yesterday, September 12. He is said to have landed at around 4 in the morning and then joined the team today, September 13, for the preparatory camp.

On his way to Chennai from London, Radikaa Sarathkumar spotted the cricketer and asked for a photo. She posted the same on her official account on X with the following caption:

"An Icon @imVkohli loved by millions, was a pleasure to meet him on the travel back from London to Chennai. Said he was playing here, wish him more success. Thanks for the selfie🙏🙏

Virat Kohli back in action for Team India after SL ODIs

Virat Kohli will be seen in action after a gap of more than a month and a half in the upcoming two-match Test series against Bangladesh. The star batter was last seen in action against Sri Lanka, where the Islanders won the three-match ODI series 2-0. Kohli managed to score 58 runs across three innings with a highest score of 24.

The 35-year-old most recently hung up his boots in the shortest format of the game after Team India beat South Africa by seven runs in the summit clash of the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. He was also out of action in the five-match Test series against England earlier in the year as he skipped the series for the birth of his son, Akaay.

This series marks Kohli's comeback in whites after six months. Virat is expected to start and play in his usual number four spot. Team India go up against Bangladesh in the first Test on Thursday, September 19, at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.
