St Kitts & Nevis Patriots and Antigua & Barbuda Falcons met in the 11th match of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2024. Werner Park in Nebraska hosted the clash on Saturday, September 8.
St Kitts & Nevis Patriots batted first in the 11th clash against Antigua & Barbuda Falcons and posted a 154-run total in eight overs. Mikyle Louis top-scored 63 off 36 followed by Wanindu Hasaranga (23), Kyle Mayers (22), and Rilee Rossouw (20). Mohammad Amir picked up a three-wicket haul for the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons while Imad Wasim and Fabian Allen took two wickets apiece.
In reply, the Falcons achieved the target in 19.4 overs. The top order of Justin Greaves (30), Brandon King (29), and Kofi James (20) gave a strong start to the Falcons. However, the middle order failed to back them but Imad Wasim’s 17*, Roshon Primus’ 15, and Fabian Allen’s 13* guided them to a two-wicket win.
Hasaranga’s four-fer and Anrich Nortje’s three wickets went in vain.
CPL 2024 Most Runs List
Kyle Mayers (187) climbed to the first spot after scoring 22 runs in the previous game. Mikyle Louis (180), who jumped from seventh to second, scored 63 runs in the same game and Evin Lewis, who scored five, dropped to third.
Fakhar Zaman (159) and Rahmanullah Gurbaz (136) also slipped to fourth and fifth positions, respectively. Imad Wasim (134) jumped from eighth to sixth following a 17-run knock in the last game.
Jewel Andrew (128) and Shimron Hetmyer (118) slipped to the next two spots, respectively. Andre Fletcher moved from 10th to ninth with 116 runs and Keacy Carty (107) descended to 10th.
CPL 2024 Most Wickets List
Anrich Nortje picked up three wickets and overcame Gudakesh Motie to secure the first spot with 10 wickets. Meanwhile, Motie moved to second with nine wickets while Fabian Allen jumped from seventh to third with seven wickets.
Shamar Springer dropped to fourth while Imad Wasim rocketed from ninth to fifth with seven wickets each. Similarly, Noor Ahmad dropped to sixth and Imran Tahir also descended to seventh with six wickets each.
Wanindu Hasaranga chipped four wickets to claim the seventh spot with five wickets. Obey McCoy, Kyle Mayers, and Mohammad Amir secured the next three spots with five wickets apiece.
