JSCA president congratulates MS Dhoni after his induction into ICC Hall of Fame [In Picture]

Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) resident Ajay Nath Shah Deo congratulated MS Dhoni after his induction into the ICC Hall of Fame. Dhoni, along with six others, was inducted into the Hall of Fame on Monday, June 9.

MS Dhoni hails from Ranchi, Jharkhand and has played domestic cricket for the state as well. The JSCA president held a felicitation ceremony for Dhoni and congratulated him for the achievement by presenting him with a bouquet of flowers.

Dhoni has played 131 first-class matches in his career, piling on 7038 runs at an average of 36.84 with nine hundreds and 47 fifties. He has also played 423 List-A matches, amassing 13353 runs with 17 hundreds and 87 half-cenuries to his name.

The veteran was last seen playing in the IPL 2025 season, where he led the Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

MS Dhoni, who led India for a long time across all formats, left an astounding legacy when it came to white-ball cricket. He is among the most successful white-ball captains in the world.

Dhoni has won all three major ICC white-ball tournaments, leading India to victory at the 2007 T20 World Cup, 2011 ODI World Cup, and the 2013 Champions Trophy. Along with the fomer Indian captain, Matthew Hayden, Hashim Amla, Graeme Smith, Daniel Vettori, Sana Mir, and Sarah Taylor are the other six inductees in the ICC Hall of Fame this year.

Dhoni is the 11th Indian player to be a part of the ICC Hall of Fame. He now joins Sunil Gavaskar, Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Virender Sehwag, Bishan Bedi, Kapil Dev, Anil Kumble, Vinoo Mankad, Diana Edulji, and Neetu David in the elite list.

Overall, MS Dhoni represented India in 90 Tests, 350 ODIs, and 98 T20Is, having scored 4876, 10773, and 1617 runs in the three formats, respectively.
