Mahe Megalo Strikers retained their first position following a 12-run DLS win over Villianur Mohit Kings. Ossudu Accord Warriors moved from third to second spot with a net run rate of 1.284 while Villianur dropped to third with a slightly lower NRR of 0.049.

Meanwhile, White Town Giants continue to hold their fourth position with one win and one loss. Karaikal Knights hold the fifth spot after their last game was abandoned. Yanam Royals languish at the foot of the points table with two consecutive losses.

Mahe Extend Winning Streak; Karaikal Face Second Consecutive Match Abandonment

Mahe Megalo Strikers won the toss and elected to bowl first. Villianur Mohit Kings captain Damodaran Rohit and Bhanu Anand opened the innings. Rohit was Damodaran was dismissed for seven while Bhanu top-scored 50 runs off 43 balls, including two fours and three sixes.

No.3 batter Mohit Kale scored seven while Pougajendy Akash returned to the pavilion after a duck on the second delivery. Similarly, Aman Hakim Khan (8), Harsh Vaishnav (6), and Jayaprakash Manikandan (4) scored in single digits. Sabhay Chadha was the second-highest among them with 15 runs off 13 deliveries, including two sixes.

Later, Jullian Jacab and Jayasankar Rahul also failed to support their batting lineup, resulting in a 117-run all-out. Karthik B Nair and Sreeraj were the pick of the Mahe bowlers with a three-wicket haul. Sagar Udeshi also clipped in two wickets while Fabid Ahmed took one.

In reply, despite losing four wickets inside the powerplay, the Strikers scored 116 runs in 18.1 overs. Skipper Fabid score an unbeaten 42 off 38, featuring three boundaries. Sabhay Chadha chipped in three wickets for the Kings while Aman and Jullian picked up one apiece.

The second game between Karaikal Knights and Ossudu Accord Warriors was concluded with no result without a toss.
