Virat Kohli is one of the fittest cricketers in the world and an inspiration for budding cricketers and sportspersons. The 35-year-old is followed by more than 269 million people on Instagram, which makes him the third most followed sportsperson after legendary football players Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. Kohli had surpassed Brazilian footballer Neymar Jr. to take the third spot.

On the professional front, Kohli failed to deliver in his three outings in the ongoing ICC event. He returned with scored of 1, 4, and 0 against Ireland, Pakistan, and the USA, respectively.

“Virat gives answers whenever questions are raised” – Varun Aaron backs under-fire Virat Kohli to deliver in 2024 T20 World Cup remaining games

Former India cricketer Varun Aaron has backed Virat Kohli to silence his critics after he failed in three group-stage games of the 2024 T20 World Cup. He told Star Sports (via Times Now):

"Virat gives answers whenever questions are raised about his performance. If you see in the IPL, there were a lot of questions raised on his strike rate, and after that, Virat made such a comeback that he silenced everyone.”

Aaron further pointed out that Kohli will come out better on a fresh wicket after tricky conditions in New York. The cricketer-turned-commentator added:

"If you see now, he remained cold in the first two or three matches. It can happen with any batter on such wickets. However, people need to understand that Virat needs to put a switch on and he starts scoring runs. Virat will be disappointed with his last three matches but come the West Indies, Virat will look a different batter when he plays on such wickets.”

Virat Kohli is the only cricketer other than Rohit Sharma and Mahela Jayawardena to score over 1,000 runs in T20 World Cups.
