Navdeep Saini is one of the young bright prospects in Indian cricket. Saini, who plays for Delhi in domestic cricket, is known for his swing and consistency and was seen as a useful option in the helpful English conditions.
The fast bowler was Delhi's leading wicket-taker in the 2017-18 Ranji Season with 34 scalps and was subsequently included in the Indian team for the one-off Test against Afghanistan but couldn't find a place in the playing XI. However, with all the premier fast bowlers fit and raring to go, Saini failed to find a place in India's Test team for the series against England.
