Pujara scores 200* against England

Cheteshwar Pujara has made England toil on Day 2 of the first Test at Ahmedabad.

Acting as a perfect replacement for Rahul Dravid, Cheteshwar Pujara scored a brilliantly measured double hundred against England, shortly after tea on Day 2 of the first Test.

In what was just 6th Test, Pujara showed remarkable poise and patience as he guided India through the dismissals of Yuvraj Singh and M.S Dhoni to a first innings score of over 500 runs.

It was the first double hundred by an Indian, since the 214 by Sachin Tendulkar back in 2010.

Pujara, along with Yuvraj first, and then Dhoni, frustrated the England bowling attack, whose pacers have yet to pick up a single wicket in the match.
