Recalling all the T20I encounters between India and England in England

#2 - India vs England, Only T20I, 2011: Old Trafford

India was playing England for the solitary T20I against England at Old Trafford in Manchester. It was India who won the toss and pushed England into the field.

Ajinkya Rahane and Parthiv Patel started the show for India. The openers had a good start to the match. However, Parthiv failed to capitalize on the start as Jade Dernbach's slow delivery caught Parthiv at the mid-wicket. Parthiv's wicket brought in a classical great, Rahul Dravid who was playing his debut as well as his last T20I match. Rahane (61 off 39) along with Dravid (31 off 21) stitched a 65-runs partnership before Dravid's surrender to Bopara.

Dravid's dismissal drew the momentum towards England as they removed Kohli and Rohit in quick succession. However, Raina's blitzkrieg knock of 33 off 19 balls created a ruckus in the England bowling department before Jade's 4-fer could restrict India to 165 for the loss of ten wickets in 19.4 overs.

The target seemed to be too futile for the England batsmen as a collective effort from Pietersen (33 off 23 balls), Morgan (49 off 27 balls), Bopara (31 off 36 balls), and Samit Patel (25 off 16 balls) helped the Englishmen to seal the one-off T20I. Jade Dernback won the player of the match award for his 4 for 22 in 3.4 overs.

Honourable mention: Rahul Dravid's three consecutive sixes.
