Former Indian captain Mohammad Azharuddin revealed his secrets on an interview with Fever 104 FM. Azhar has a habit of keeping his jersey's collar raised during the match to protect his neck skin. It was due to the problems on his neck skin as a result of subjection to sun rays. He wears a white helmet in ODI matches as he liked the helmet and he used it so much in the Test matches.

Also, the blue helmet was not necessary for the shorter formats of cricket at that time. So, he liked to play ODIs with wearing a white helmet.
