#4 Wimbledon Final 2014

Day Twelve: The Championships - Wimbledon 2015

Serena Williams took on Garbine Muguruza in the Wimbledon final of 2014 in a bid to win her 21st Grand Slam title. Muguruza was having a breakthrough year as she reached the first major final of her career.

It was evident that the Spaniard had a lot of nerves as Williams won the first set with ease. However, she struggled a bit on her serve in the second set, dropping it twice. Luckily, she held her nerve towards the end and saw out the match.

By winning the title, she completed the second "Serena Slam" of her career, i.e holding all four majors at once.

Result: Serena Williams def. Garbine Muguruza 6-4, 6-4
