Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Shivam Mavi ruled out of the IPL

India’s stars from the 2018 Under-19 World Cup, Kamlesh Nagarkoti and Shivam Mavi have been ruled out of this year’s IPL. Nagarkoti will be missing his second straight season after he suffered a foot injury last season. The extent of his injury is unknown for the time being.
Meanwhile, Mavi who played nine games for the Kolkata Knight Riders last season has been ruled out due to a back stress fracture. The Uttar Pradesh fast bowler picked up 5 wickets last season and had an expensive debut season.
Sandeep Warrier has been added to the KKR squad after the injuries to Mavi and Nagarkoti. The Kerala pacer had a good outing in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy where he picked up eight wickets in six games at an economy of 5.81. Though Warrier has never played an IPL game before, he was a part of the RCB set-up for three years (2013, 2014 and 2015).
