Yuzvendra Chahal, the tweaker from Haryana, is currently Kohli's go-to man with the ball in limited overs. Chahal carved a niche for himself with consistent performances that saw him bamboozle South African batsmen earlier this year.

Chahal currently has taken 43 wickets in 23 ODIs and requires another 7 wickets to reach the 50 wicket mark. If Chahal goes past this mark in the upcoming ODI series, he would break the Indian record for the quickest to reach 50 ODI wickets by a spinner. Currently, Amit Mishra holds the record by an Indian spinner, having reached the landmark in his 32nd ODI.

In the course, Chahal might also become the second quickest Indian to 50 ODI wickets, just after Ajit Agarkar if he reaches the 50 wicket landmark in this series itself. Chahal also has an outside chance of becoming the fastest legspinner to reach 50 wickets in ODI history. Australian legend Shane Warne took his 50th wicket in his 25th ODI and Chahal has the opportunity to equal Warne's feat, or even better it, in the highly improbable scenario of him bagging a whopping 7 wickets in the first ODI, which would him topple Warne's record.
