Among the four highest innings scores in a Test match by a visiting debutant at Lord’s Cricket Ground, England, two of them happen to be scored by Indians. While Sourav Ganguly went on to make a century, Rahul Dravid missed it by just 5 runs. Both the Indian players created this record exactly on this day 18 years before, i.e., on 20/06/1996. Even after Ganguly announced his retirement from all forms of cricket, his record remains intact.
