According to Forbes magazine, Virat is the most expensive Indian athlete and earns a whopping Rs. 3.2 crore per Instagram post.

Kohli was also named amongst the most marketable athletes, ahead of global superstar Lionel Messi.

Arguably one of the best batsmen of all time, Kohli has led India to a lot of success ever since taking over as the captain of the side.

India has not lost a single limited-overs series under his captaincy. They faced stiff competition against New Zealand in the recently concluded ODI series but eventually came out victorious, winning the three-match series 2-1.

Kohli also broke numerous personal records during the series. With two centuries to his name, he went past Ricky Ponting's tally of 30 ODI centuries and is second on the list of the most number of ODI centuries scored.

The Blackcaps also managed to sneak in a victory in the ongoing T20I series, winning the second match held in Rajkot.

They will look to win the final match as well and inflict a first-ever series loss on the Indian cricket team under Kohli's captaincy.

However, the two sides are playing the waiting game as they are currently waiting for the rain to stop in Thiruvananthapuram - the venue for the third T20I.
