This century by Lance Klusener is the oldest chasing T20 century on a losing cause. The South African all-rounder played a beautiful knock a decade ago when the T20 cricket was at a nascent stage.

Worcestershire won the toss and chose to bat on a batting paradise against Northamptonshire. The legendary English batsman Graeme Hick opened the batting with Vikram Solanki.

They together scored 175 from the first 14 overs. It helped Worcestershire to set a record target of 228. Hick had scored a brilliant century in 44 balls and became the oldest player to score a T20 hundred.

Lance Klusener led the Steelbacks chase with a quick-fire start. The all-rounder along Usman Azfaal forged a 92 run partnership in just eight overs. While the wickets tumbled at the other end, Klusener waged a lone battle and scored a 36-ball hundred. Klusener went on to score an unbeaten 111 runs. The team got stranded five short of the target ending with a score of 222.

While Charles scored a quick fire 79, his fellow opener scored 100 to boost West Indies total to 245 runs in 20 overs.

Chasing a record target, India started on a tragic note. They lost both Rahane and Kohli for just 7 and 16 respectively. Rahul partnered first with Rohit and then with Dhoni and took India very close to the target. He scored an inordinate 110 runs off 51 balls with five sixes and 12 boundaries. It was the very first time in the history of T20I that two batsmen got centuries in one match. Rahul reached his ton off 46 balls which was the joint-second fastest ton in T20s.

Dwayne Bravo defended seven runs in the final over to inflict one-run defeat to the hard-fought Indians. This particular innings earned him a spot in the middle-order in One Day Internationals.

He scored an unbelievable 70% of his team runs in that match.

In a must-win qualifying match, Oman won the toss and chose to bat. They scored a healthy 180 runs with the help of the contribution from all the batsmen. Chasing a victory target of 181, Babar shouldered the weight of the chase while the other batsmen faltered.

A 60-ball 122 from Babar dragged Hong Kong to the threshold of an incredible victory but Oman hed their nerve and sealed a five-run win. He scored seven sixes and nine fours. The other batsmen's score reads as 11,0, 8, 0, 10, 15, 4, 4.
