Top 5 partnership records in ODIs since World Cup 2015

#4 Alex Hales & Jason Roy

England v South Africa - Royal London ODI
England v South Africa

After a disastrous 2015 World Cup for England, the ODI side was transformed and the new opening duo of Alex Hales and Jason Roy was a big part of that.

Hales was already in the side, but Roy's selection was a sign that aggressive batsman was needed to give impetuous to England's innings. Together they have scored 1,298 runs at an average of 35.08. They have had five fifty runs and three century partnerships.

The largest partnership was an unbeaten 256 when England chased down Sri Lanka's total in June 2016. After a period of poor form, Roy was dropped during the 2017 Champions Trophy for Jonny Bairstow but he is still in the ODI squads.
