Video: Brilliant advertisement by Gillette for the Indian fan ahead of the World Cup

Razor company Gillette has come out with a brilliant advertisement that showcases the emotion of the Indian cricket fan ahead of the World Cup. Every fan has his/her unique story and Gillette captures one heart-warming story beautifully in this 4-minute video.

It shows the story of a young cricket lover who lost his sight while playing the game he loved. However, he still β€˜saw’ all of India’s ups and downs through the eyes of his son.

There was no emotion he missed – be it the euphoria after the 1983 World Cup win or the excitement at watching a young Sachin Tendulkar play his first game – till his son grew up and got married.

Despite his son’s absence, the old man is given a surprise by a former cricketer – Rahul Dravid – at the end of the video who requests to be his eyes for the World Cup.
