Indian cricket team members Jasprit Bumrah, Karun Nair, Ravindra Jadeja all celebrate their birthday today.
Interestingly, discarded Indian cricketer RP Singh, too, celebrates his birthday today.
Jadeja was a part of the playing XI which drew against Sri Lanka on the final day of the third Test in Delhi. He even picked up two wickets on his birthday. He was close to picking up a third as well; however, it ended up being a no-ball.
India eventually won the series 1-0 and thus continued their extended winning streak.
Bumrah is busy preparing for the upcoming ODI series against the Lankans which begins on December 10.
With Jadeja being a Test specialist and Bumrah being a limited overs specialist, the two have not played a lot of cricket together. However, they will share the field when India travel to South Africa at the beginning of next year as Bumrah was included in the Test squad.
While Jadeja has played a total of 211 international matches for India across all formats, Bumrah has played a total of 58 matches which includes ODIs and T20Is only.
On the other hand, Karun Nair has not played a game for India since March 2017 and is currently representing Karnataka in the Ranji Trophy.
