The Zimbabwe vs Afghanistan 2024 ODI series will commence on Tuesday, December 17. The next two encounters of this three-match series will be played on December 19 and 21, with Harare set to host all the games.

Afghanistan have qualified for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 for the first time. They will aim to prepare for the mega event by dominating Zimbabwe in the upcoming series. They beat the hosts 2-1 in the recently-concluded T20I series.
